Contagia
The week in chemical and biological threats — read for one question: does this change what crosses a U.S. port of entry?
What it is
A weekly email that tracks chemical and biological threats worldwide for their border and trade consequences: animal and plant diseases that drive import restrictions, human outbreaks with a plausible travel or cargo link, chemical-weapons export controls and sanctions, and confirmed toxic-agent incidents and treaty news.
What it never carries
Contagia stays at the level of news and official notices. It never carries technical detail on producing, acquiring, handling or using any agent, and it names private individuals only where an official notice does.
How it relates to the record
Its Watch Ahead calls join the Tabularium and are graded by the weekly Reckoning like every other call.
