So what?  A formal extradition instrument closes a gap that fugitives from either kingdom's justice system have historically used to shelter in the other, narrowing safe-haven options across a North Africa-Levant corridor that smuggling and trafficking networks also traverse. The steady cadence of Jordan-Morocco judicial agreements since late 2025 points to a broader bilateral law-enforcement partnership worth watching for further capacity-building or information-sharing steps.

So what?  Iran extending retaliation to Kuwait and Jordan, rather than confining it to U.S. forces or Gulf states already in the fight, shows Tehran is willing to draw in hosts whose stability and forward liaison and screening posture depend on staying insulated from a war centered elsewhere.
