EU and Pakistan agree to widen migration cooperation as Brussels credits Islamabad with a 64% cut in illegal migration to Europe
So what? The bargain is legal work routes and coast-guard capacity in return for tighter departure controls, which pushes screening upstream to Pakistani airports, where Arab News says checks on suspected smuggling clients already worry legitimate travelers. The lean is fewer Pakistanis on the Libya sea route and more attempts through document fraud on legal channels, so visa and boarding-document fraud is the place to watch.

Pakistan, Iran agree to deepen border security and counter-narcotics cooperation along shared frontier
So what? This lands as Iran absorbs strikes on its western and southern flanks and has an incentive to lock down cooperation on its eastern border instead; a functioning Pakistan channel matters for interdicting Afghanistan-sourced narcotics and militant financing that regularly spill toward the Gulf. Watch for whether this becomes a joint border-patrol mechanism, which would be the first concrete deliverable rather than another statement of intent.
