So what?  Washington's continued embrace of Bukele's now-unlimited-term bid, without any public reservation, signals the security and deportation-cooperation relationship outweighs democratic-backsliding concerns in this partnership, an opening for deeper joint counter-gang and removal-flight cooperation.
